Facilitator
April began working with LaL in 2014 as an Executive Coach and Facilitator for WeLead and Spark Your Mastery. WeLead is LaL’s in-house corporate training program and Spark Your Mastery is LaL’s Train-the-Trainer program. Prior to her joining LaL, April worked for a contractor to the Department of Energy for nine years. Her most recent role there was in organizational development and leadership. As an internal culture-change partner, she supported and coached the senior leadership team (LaL 4-Mastery participants) and other managers (LaL WeLead participants) on their journey of increasing self-awareness and becoming a learning organization.
April is known for building great relationships with those she supports and she is fluent at understanding unique business and team dynamics associated with government and contractors. She has facilitated various teamwork trainings including OC Tanner’s The Orange Revolution and Franklin Covey’s The Speed of Trust. April earned her bachelor’s in marketing and a master’s in business administration. She is also a PMI-certified Project Management Professional. April lives in Las Vegas, NV with her husband and their two young sons. In her spare time she enjoys volleyball, reading and spending time with her family. She is also a certified GTD® Fundamentals Facilitator for the David Allen Company, which teaches individuals the art of stress-free productivity.
