Feedback Specialist

Rachel is a 360° Feedback Specialist, critically-acclaimed memoirist and teacher of creative nonfiction. She is passionate about uncovering the behavioral patterns that form the scaffolding beneath our life stories. Having attended the first of multiple Personal Mastery seminars with her family at age 19, she can speak directly to the durable changes created by these powerful communication and leadership tools.

Rachel holds a B.A. from the University of Texas and an M.F.A. in creative nonfiction from California State University, Fresno. Her essays have appeared or been recognized in The Colorado Review, Front Porch Journal, The Atlantic and O Magazine, and she was a guest on NPR’s Fresh Air with Terry Gross. Her memoir,  The War At Home: A Wife’s Search for Peace (and Other Missions Impossible) was published by Penguin Books in 2016. In what passes for spare time, she enjoys live music, indie films and Mexican food in her hometown of Austin, Texas and constructing huge Lego projects with her two young sons.
